Ivy Tech Fair: A Gateway to Mental Health Resources in Indiana

On November 18, Ivy Tech Community College will host an informative mental health resource fair at its Lawrence campus, inviting community members to explore various support services available for mental well-being. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 166 of the Fairbanks building, located at 9301 E. 59th St. Best of all, entry is free, and no prior registration is required.

A variety of esteemed mental health organizations, including Dove Recovery House, Overdose Lifeline, Step-Up Inc., and Outreach Inc., will have representatives on site to provide valuable resources and guidance. Additionally, AES Indiana will share information on energy assistance programs, ensuring attendees are aware of the support available to them.

Students attending the fair will have the chance to win prizes, with the first 20 arrivals receiving diabetes monitors. There will also be raffles held at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and a grand prize drawing for a $25 Speedway gas card at 1 p.m. To be eligible for the raffles, students must be present at the event.

This fair not only highlights the importance of mental health resources but also emphasizes community engagement and support, making it a must-attend event for students and residents alike.
