INDIANAPOLIS – Small business owners in Indiana are encouraged to take advantage of a no-cost assistance program designed to boost growth and innovation. The Indiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is now accepting applications for the Indiana Technical Assistance Program (INTAP), offering up to $15,000 in professional services to eligible businesses.
This initiative, led by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC), connects small businesses with expert vendors to support projects such as:
Applications open January 15 and close February 21.
Jon Myers, state director of the Indiana SBDC and vice president of small business at the IEDC, emphasized the program's impact:
“As a state, Indiana continues to support Hoosier entrepreneurs and small businesses through innovative and strategic ways at no cost. INTAP allows entrepreneurs to tap into talent that might not otherwise be available, enabling small businesses and startups to develop and implement new technologies and processes to take their operations to the next level.”

Launched in 2017, INTAP has supported 316 Hoosier businesses to date. The program is administered in partnership with Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington’s Cook Center for Entrepreneurship and the South Central Indiana SBDC regional office.
